IFB develops its network to the South significantly (France, Spain and Italy)
Antwerp, January 2010 – IFB, member of SNCB Logistics and specialised in intermodal transport, invests further in the development of its European rail network.

In 2008, all companies that are active in the freight division of SNCB, were combined in one integrated group, the SNCB freight group. The purpose was to join the strengths and complementary activities of the member-companies under one strong structure. In 2009, the SNCB freight group was finalised and was called SNCB Logistics.
In this structure, every single person works with the same clear mission of offering more client-oriented services and a complete logistics solution to customers, with improved quality, productivity and cost-efficiency.
The three commercial brands of the groupe are
- IFB as specialist in logistics solutions for container transport.
- Rail Force for logistics in the chemical and automotive sector, wood and paper, consumer goods, tiles and forwarding activities.
- Xpedys for dry bulk and steel products.
