Antwerp, July 5 2010 – IFB, independent subsidiary of SNCB Logistics and specialised in intermodal transport, develops of its European rail network. Thanks to a partnership with Intercontainer (ICF), IFB gives customers rail access to the whole of Eastern Europe.
In 2008, all companies that are active in the freight division of SNCB, were combined in one integrated group, the SNCB freight group. The purpose was to join the strengths and complementary activities of the member-companies under one strong structure. In 2009, the SNCB freight group was finalised and was called SNCB Logistics.
In this structure, every single person works with the same clear mission of offering more client-oriented services and a complete logistics solution to customers, with improved quality, productivity and cost-efficiency.
