B-Cargo Operations

B-Cargo Operations is the operational hub of SNCB Logistics. The company carries out all domestic and international transports which SNCB Logistics sells through its commercial subsidiaries IFB, Rail Force and Xpedys. These manage all customer relations, except those for other railway operators, which are handled by B-Cargo Operations. B-Cargo Operations also acts as an intermediary with international corridor companies, such as Sibelit. In addition, B-Cargo Operations controls and manages the Rail Cargo Centres (RCCs) scattered over Belgium, where hundreds of highly skilled workers organise the trains’ arrivals and departures and carry out shunting operations.
